Bible Stories Viewed Through a Secular Lens
Join us as we explore how the stories and fables of our ancestors impact our ethics, our world-view and our feelings of “Jewishness”. We will examine several Torah stories over the course of three two-hour sessions. The central characters of these sagas express all of the same hopes and dreams and faults and failures as we do today. What were the authors trying to teach us? What are the central lessons? Why is it important to pass these stories on to future generations?
