Conversation with Ron Manheimer
Ron Manheimer, founding director of the NC Center for Creative Retirement at UNCA (renamed Osher Life Long Learning Institute in 2012), philosophy professor, author and
volunteer invites you to take part in a “conversation” with him on Sunday, Oct. 29thfrom 3-5 PM at the home of Margaret Kort, 1905 Bearberry Lane (Biltmore Park).
If you would like to know more about how the Jewish philosopher Martin Buber (1878-1965) explained the application of his famous word pairs: “I-thou” and “ I- It” in our personal relationships, how we understand God, spirituality, nature, politics and racism you might want to take part.
Ron would like this conversation to involve everyone. The maximum number is 22 people.
